Zuzu Shelton

Zuzu Shelton began taking piano lessons at age four and her love for music has only grown. While her primary instrument is piano, Zuzu has played violin since she was six. She participated in various orchestras starting in elementary school and going through college. She recently graduated from the University of St.

Thomas with her Bachelors of Music in Music Education. While in college, Zuzu participated in Piano Ensembles, the St. Thomas String Orchestra, and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. She intends to continue her education by getting her masters in Piano Pedagogy and completing her Orff and Kodály Levels.

Zuzu’s interest in music education has been a constant throughout her life. As a future music educator, she is committed to making music accessible to all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background. She believes every child deserves the opportunity to create, perform, and experience music in a meaningful way. In her free time, Zuzu loves to craft, bake, and spending time with her friends and cat, Marigold.
