Oliver Heck

Oliver Heck carries the spirit of an old soul when it comes to music. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he grew up immersed in a wide range of styles — jazz, blues, rock, funk, alternative, and more. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Memphis, where he continued to deepen his musical versatility and artistry. While Oliver now specializes in contemporary alternative rock and regularly writes and performs original music under the name “Olivre,” he also has a strong foundation in the jazz and classical traditions that shaped his early musical education.

Most recently, he has played guitar with the College of St. Scholastica’s Jazz Band and electric bass with the college’s Steel Band.
