Grace grew up in Apple Valley, MN, and began playing violin at age 6. Since her youth, Grace discovered music as a vital life component. She attended Emory University where she swam competitively while studying medicine, Spanish, and music. Playing violin in the Emory Orchestra and providing music therapy to the elderly and disabled, Grace explored music’s impact on human healing. After graduating from Emory University in 2021, Grace moved to Edina, MN, and is in the midst of two professional gap years, working in the healthcare industry while continuing her passion for music and swimming through private violin performances, wedding performances, music ministry, and coaching high school swimming. Grace finds inspiration in connecting athletics with music and hopes to utilize her swim coaching background in her teaching of the violin. Grace’s youth and university violin instructors have inspired her to approach violin studies with a compassionate, holistic, purposeful approach, which inspires her to teach violin to the youth.
