Abigail is a DMA student at the University of Minnesota, studying both cello and musicology. She grew up in Hutchinson, MN, and went on to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cello performance from the University of South Dakota and Kent State University, respectively. After graduating, Abigail lived in the Netherlands for several years, where she studied historical cello and performed in period-instrument ensembles. She enjoys collaborating on modern and historical cello and does so routinely with her pianist husband. When not musicking, Abby can usually be found reading, watching Twins baseball, or doing the daily NY Times crossword puzzle.
